International Virtual Course
APMEI 2026
Topic
Air Pollution Monitoring and Environmental Impact of Tropical Forest and Peatland Fire
Brief Description
Tropical forest and peatland fires remain one of the most pressing environmental challenges, impacting ecosystems at local, regional, and global scales. To enhance awareness, understanding, and technical capacity among future environmental leaders, FTSL proudly presents the 6th APMEI (APMEI 2026). This international program is exclusively designed for undergraduate (Bachelor’s degree) students in science and engineering from Indonesia and around the world..
APMEI 2026 offers a comprehensive learning experience on key topics including the impacts of forest and peatland fires, air quality monitoring techniques and data analysis, emission inventory development, as well as mitigation and adaptation strategies. The course will be delivered by experienced lecturers and experts from leading institutions, both nationally and internationally.
In addition to academic sessions, participants will engage in immersive activities such as visits to air quality monitoring facilities, hands-on training with monitoring instruments, excursions to tropical forest ecosystems, and cultural experiences that enrich global perspectives.
This 6th APMEI is strictly intended for Bachelor’s degree students, providing a tailored learning environment that supports foundational understanding and skill development at the undergraduate level.
Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to deepen your knowledge in a highly relevant environmental field. Join APMEI 2026 and become part of the next generation driving sustainable solutions.
