Human life activities are never detached from the environment that accommodates them and the physical infrastructure that enables effective and efficient operations. In this regard, creating a sustainable, environmentally conscious, economically feasible, and socially accepted built infrastructure environment poses a challenge for policymakers, planners, designers, constructors, and managers. Extensive research has been conducted and will continuously be required to generate ideas and innovations in this field.
The Journal of Infrastructure and Built Environment, published bi-annually by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (prior to 2006 named the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning) Institut Teknologi Bandung, is expected to serve as a reliable platform where ideas and research findings from higher education institutions, various research agencies, and practitioners can be presented. To maintain the quality of the journal's content, presented papers undergo a review process conducted by a team of experts in infrastructure and the built environment.
