Brief Description

The course on Integrated Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (I-WASH) is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding of an approach that encompasses various interconnected aspects related to water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion. It focuses on addressing the interdependencies between these sectors to improve public health and well-being, in both technical and non-technical aspects also current challenges dan issues related to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector.

This program serves not only as a platform for academic and practical learning, but also as a venue for student exchanges, international collaboration, and networking among participants, practitioners, and partner institutions.

Topic of I-WASH 2026 is WASH in Emergency Settings which is critical to prevent disease outbreaks and provide basic human dignity in limited condition. The I-WASH summer course 2026 is dedicated to equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to address sanitation needs and vital essentials in humanitarian emergency situations. Participants will explore the unique challenges and best practices for providing effective sanitation solutions, ensuring public health, and meeting the basic needs of affected populations during crises. Through immersive simulations, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will develop the expertise required for efficient and impactful humanitarian emergency response. Small conferences related I-WASH also be part of this activities as research sharing about WASH sector.
