Air Pollution Mitigation from Forest and Peatland Fire in Indonesia

Brief Description
Tropical forest and peatland fires are environmental disasters that impact local, regional, and global ecosystems. To raise awareness and knowledge on this issue, FTSL ITB proudly presents APMEI 2025, an international virtual course designed for undergraduate and master’s students in science and engineering from Indonesia and around the world.
Participants will explore key topics such as:
● The impact of forest and peatland fires
● Air quality monitoring techniques and analysis
● Emission inventory
● Mitigation and adaptation strategies
This program features lectures by experts from renowned institutions in Indonesia and abroad, complemented by:
● Visits to air quality monitoring facilities
● Hands-on air quality monitoring sessions
● Excursions to tropical forests
● Cultural tours and interactive activities
Don’t miss this golden opportunity to deepen your understanding and contribute to global environmental solutions.
