Rekayasa Struktur

Rekayasa Struktur adalah bidang teknik yang berhubungan dengan desain struktural, secara ekonomis dan elegan, sehingga struktur dapat menahan beban-beban yang mungkin terjadi. Rekayasa struktur melingkupi riset, perencanaan, perancangan, konstruksi, inspeksi, monitoring, pemeliharaan, rehalibilitasi, dan demolisasi struktur permanen dan sementara, serta sistem struktural dan komponennya.

Bidang ilmu yang tercakup dalam bidang rekayasa struktur adalah:

  • Rehabilitasi Struktur (Perbaikan/Perkuatan)

Kelompok Keahlian Rekayasa Struktur ITB berfokus pada riset-riset pada struktur teknik sipil, yaitu bangunan, jembatan, dermaga, struktur lepas pantai,dan bendungan, khususnya pada aspek desain berbasis performa struktur-struktur tersebut.

Riset Unggulan

Penelitian utama:

  • Collaborative Research Program with Industry (a research collaboration between FTSL ITB, Nippon Steel, and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC)).
  • Structural Analysis and Damping System the Building Design Project (a research collaboration between FTSL ITB and Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering Co. Ltd.).
  • Development Hysteretic Behavior of Beam-column Joint of Reinforced Concrete Steel (RCS) Project  (a research collaboration between FTSL ITB and PT. WIKA beton).
  • Safe Schools Project ( MIT Indonesia Research Alliance (MIRA) research – a research collaboration between CM – SE – GE Research Groups FTSL ITB and Urban Risk Lab MIT)
